Scouting Advocate
The purpose of the National Association of United Methodist Scouters is to:
| enhance the ministry of The United Methodist Church; | |
| to develop strategies and resources; and | |
| to organize and expand the church's youth ministry by utilizing the resources of the General Board of Discipleship and the programs of the four youth agencies: Girl Scouts of the USA, Camp-Fire Boys and Girls, 4-H and Boy Scouts of America. |
Through youth agencies and church partnership, the Association has undertaken the mission of providing character and citizenship development under the leadership of Christian role models.
